Description

Some Flow icons need flipping for RTL wikis.

Here are the ones I can see:

  • The pencil for editing header, posts, etc.
  • Browse topics (three lines with diminishing length)
  • History (clock)
  • Permalink (chain)
  • Summarize (maybe it's the same one as "Browser topics" - I'm not sure)
  • Hide topic (Flag)

@Amire80 The mentioned article outlines that neither History nor pencil (as thing representing a tool for right-handers) should be mirrored. See also my coming response on M229.

The pencil for editing header, posts, etc.

It seems that we have a long-standing convention not to flip the pencil icons, since they're styled in a "right-handed" way rather than in a "left-to-right" way. For example, the edit icons on the mobile site are not flipped. There's some recent discussion at T300053 reaffirming this.

Browse topics (three lines with diminishing length)

It's flipped now

History (clock)

Probably should not be flipped, for similar reasons?

Permalink (chain)

The current icon is symmetrical, maybe it looked different back in the day

Summarize (maybe it's the same one as "Browser topics" - I'm not sure)
