Hi all,

As discussed here: https://pt.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinot%C3%ADcias:Reda%C3%A7%C3%A3o/Voltando_coisas_que_sumiram_%2828/03/2015%29, we want to (re)implement the collaboration tab in WN-pt, as the WN-en, but, for that is better to create a new namespace "Colaboração", because in the WN-rn they use a liquidthread for "opinion" and we will use the talk to the "opinião"

And as we will start in a short time a educational project there, involving more then 300 people, so if you could do that asap this could be great.

Hi. Can you please clarify what this request exactly about? Creating a new namespace called "Colaboração"?

Changing task priority to normal as I'm not sure why this is more urgent than other unresolved site configuration requests...

Aklapper set Security to None.

This ^ a creation of one new tab in the article (main) pages, as the talk pages, but we will use talk pages for opinions about news, and discussion about the construction at this new tab. Today is a mess, opinions and comments to improve...

This already exist in the WN-en but they use the liquidthread for the opinions.

I just requested the creation of new Namespace to be able to have this new tab, and create collaboration pages (colaboração) in the same away of talk pages.

@R.T.Argenton So the plan is we add this the namespace, and then you code locally on Wikinews the JS necessary to print this new tab?

Humm... I'm not able to adapt the js, and also the community members... actually the css is super old, and some things are brooked, if you help on that or indicate some one that could help, this would be great.

Okay, I'm writing a prototype of a script to add a tab in Vector to article in (main), with a link to Colaboração:{BASENAME}.

See also T98584, such scripts already exist, with. When this one is debugged, it will be a good candidate for a Colaboração tab.

The namespaces have been added.

As I said, we should provide a generic feature for this, to solve both this issue and T98584.

I see in your description you have an urgent project, when does it start?

This already start, however we were predicting around 30-60 students, in reality 5 professors fancy the idea, as a result we will deal with 300-400 students.

So now we had to stop the workshops, and start to re-plan all the structure, and probably I will be here again requesting "metric features" to follow up this students, just need to figuring out what is the real necessities, and what we already have available.

So what else is there to do with our MediaWiki configuration here?
