Description

Safari on iOS 8.2 on iPad in landscape.

I go to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T95233
I click on the second link (Show Details).

In front of the task page, I get the screen “Change Details”, ...or rather a part of it.

See this screen photo:

Screen photo of task page with part of the differences screen in front of it. The whole differences screen cannot be seen. So the button Cancel cannot be seen. So there is no way out of the differences screen!

I cannot see the whole screen of differences.
I cannot scroll the screen “Change Details”.
So I cannot see the button Cancel, and I cannot click it. I am trapped! There is no way to close this screen and have the task page back.
I could be writing a comment on the task page, so this bug can bring data loss.

Probably tapping/clicking outside of that screen should close it (but does not).

I confirm that clicking outside of that screen does not close it.

Can you reproduce this with any other browser on that device?

Cannot reproduce anymore in upstream using Firefox 114.0.2 on an Android phone device - shows three different options Old, New, Diff at the top of that Change Details overlay dialog and allows scrolling down to the Done button to close that overlay dialog.

I suggest reporting this to Safari developers if still an issue.
