Purchase 24x Intel S3700 SSDs for insertion into the 12x production bits caches today (4 machines each in eqiad, ulsfo, esams), so that they can be reassigned and reused in other clusters. Don't move on this until we're sure that's the plan and we're moving forward on it with a real timeline (see parent task).
