Selecting item from search closes it and saves it automatically
Closed, ResolvedPublic5 Estimated Story Points

Description

In edit collection interface, if I click search, and click a search item I exit back to the description page and the item is added to the collection automatically.

  • If I click a member in my collection to remove it the tick disappears but unlike search it does not save automatically. Clicking back button prompts me I have unsaved changes.
  • When I first tap into search I see existing items of the collection, with check boxes next to them
  • If I search for a page already in my collection and click it I get a notification that "This page is already in your collection." (I cannot remove it from collection from search) and nothing happens.
  • In search results, no checkboxes (tick icon) are displayed

@KHammerstein I need this story to be clear before kick off Monday. See unknowns in description.

@KHammerstein Jon and I started a new task with everything but "search closes after item is clicked" as some of the additional description had issues. Let's touch base soon about what the intention is here.

@KHammerstein - is this task still relevant? It works as I would expect in current form. If not...

I'm going through old cards, clearing unclear ones to try and identify cards that volunteers should push forward and build. This one seems unclear. Could you please close it as declined or update the description if you think there is something actionable here that a volunteer could build?
