Unable to select more than one paragraph using the keyboard

Description

When selecting text with the keyboard (pressing shift + down arrow) I can extend the selection several lines in a paragraph, but it is not possible to extend the selection beyond the paragraph. I experienced the issue with Chrome on Mac.

It may not be very problematic while editing an article, but I found the issue when manipulating text in StructuredDiscussions (when trying to select and cut a couple of one-line paragraphs).
