Yes Sir! without it will be of no worth because we are yet a small wiki and most of the people come here from another wikis. Very few people directly create acconts here.

Per the global RfC, users should only be welcomed on Wikimedia projects where they created their account or have made edits. (T426206)
As a result, wgNewUserMessageOnAutoCreate was replaced by wgNewUserMessageOnFirstEdit, and a user whose account was created automatically will receive a welcome notification when they make their first edit.
