Description

OpenStack has tagged v0.5.7 of python-gear which comes with performance improvements and no API changes. Ref: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/180334/

We need it backported to our Precise Trusty and Jessie distributions.

That is for the zuul server on gallium (Precise). Need to bump the package in Debian alioth git repo and push it to apt.wikimedia.org

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/250396 causes the Zuul Debian package on Precise to embed Gear 0.5.8.
