In today's hangout, we decided to update Parsoid docs and clean it up before the Lyon hackathon to make sure it is up to date and reflects latest state of affairs in the Parsoid land.

It is time to promote Wikimedia-Hackathon-2015 activities in the program (training sessions and meetings) and main wiki page (hacking projects and other ongoing activities). Follow the instructions, please. If you have questions, about this message, ask here.

Is this a workshop that should be on the program?

This session doesn't appear in the program. I'm assuming that I didn't happen. Otherwise, please rectify, recycle it for #Wikimania-hackathon-2015, etc.

We merged it into T99859 (see slides).

I do think that there is interest for more detail than we provided. We should also provide a set of utility functions and possibly complete example code for common cases:

  • simple data extraction
  • match a set of extensions / templates
  • remove a set of extensions or templates
