Hi,

I started to find this problem since about couple of months, We are using font "Arial" but when I open pages like "preferences" I find different font which looks like "Tahoma".

I don't know why these different pages do not follow "Common.css".

I wish someone can explain the reason. and also I want to ask If we can add "Tahoma" font with same css style which appears in preferences page to Extension:UniversalLanguageSelector. cause it looks good.

So can we added this font type with this style (which appears in the Preferences page to Extension:UniversalLanguageSelector ?

and also I wanna ask, if mediawiki:Common.css is not loaded in preferences and login/signup pages, So from where these pages get css styles?

They get the styles the extension developers defined :)

It would be possible to change the font in ULS, but that's a question for the extension developers. So, just to be sure i understand the actual problem correctly:

The font of content pages differs from the font on Special:Preferences (do you want to get that fixed, too?)
The font in ULS (Universal Language Selector) differs from the font used on content pages

Is that correct? :)

Actually, I think the font on Special:Preferences looks better than the font on content pages. so I want use this font as default instead of current font after discussion with Ar-community. but first I want to know how to do it? and I want to make a page example before start discussion.

Ok, now i'm confused. Both, Special:Preferences and the main page uses sans-serif as font-family?! :/

No, Special:Preferences page uses "Tahoma" font or something looks like Tahoma. but main page uses sans-serif font family. and I want to change main page font to make it just like Special:Preferences font.

...for intentional reasons. Hoping that I understand this task correctly, I am closing this task as "declined" as there are no plans to change this behavior. If there is still a valid software bug (wrong software behavior) or request (change certain behavior in server settings which is not defined by custom local on-wiki code), please reopen this task and update the summary/description.
