Observed on mediawiki.org, using latest stable Chrome:
- Edit or create a line of plain text.
- Bold the first word.
- Place cursor before first word.
- Enter new word in front. Observe how this word is also bold (as it should be).
- Move cursor and alter the (now) second word.
First word remains bolded.
First word changed and is no longer bold.
I suspect this may be a data model corruption, or a something the browser does natively already but undetected by VisualEditor.
