I am going to mark this as declined for lack of a better option because this suggestion is currently pending on at least 4 requests pertaining to improvements to special pages imports to AWB.
@Reedy, you mentioned you were waiting on https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14869 which appears to be done. Is this something that can be done now? If not then I recommend we annotate the various requests that pertain to this as such and close them out.
