Please enable Extension:NewUserMessage on Sanskrit Wikipedia (sa.wikipedia). The local declaration is click here. We need this extension to welcome new users from other wikis too.

Initially planned to be deployed this evening, but discussion is recent, and sa.wikipedia seems to have a community active enough to get more opinion on the issue, so we'll deploy this next week.

Yes, that were scheduled for deployment at 2015-05-27 evening SWAT.

Unfortunately, a wiki cluster outage occurred, and the deployment window were cancelled.

Next deployment window is today 15:00 UTC.

Update:
Per the global RfC, users should only be welcomed on Wikimedia projects where they created their account or have made edits. (T426206)
As a result, wgNewUserMessageOnAutoCreate was replaced by wgNewUserMessageOnFirstEdit, and a user whose account was created automatically will receive a welcome notification when they make their first edit.
