@Aklapper Hello! It says that this was fixed but https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Search/filemime:audio/webm still has a bunch of hits that are videos. Do you know why?

I don't think we should make any changes to the English message, just allow translations to respect grammatical gender rules of each language.

I agree with MusikAnimal: for the majority of MediaWiki installations, watchlist expiry is likely to not be required. Of course it can always be turned of for wikis that don't want it, but I think it should stay as default-off.

Is this a priority to track? Do we want to track notifications sent for the same comment as well as the same new topic?

How would you categorize the effort required to add the tracking that will help us verify that people are not receiving multiple notifications for the same comment or topic [i]? Is the instrumentation difficult to implement? Were the instrumentation to be implemented, would the analysis required to make sense of the data said instrumentation implemented be difficult to complete?

I've updated the task description with full checklists, please check the mgmt and ensure it works for the above servers (the are unchecked for bios/drac testing in checklist). I'm assigning this back to you, but I'll keep working on the other systems in the group in the meantime.

Watchlist expiry is enabled everywhere for WMF, but most third party wikis will probably have little use for it. The watchlist system is already kind of confusing for new users, and with the expiry feature enabled you get a form that shows up that almost looks like you have to do something, adding even more confusion. Perhaps we can improve that experience to be more intuitive, but in my humble opinion this feature should not be default-on because it just adds UI cruft for the vast majority of wikis.

Almost everything seems to be working correctly in the latest version of the patch, with one exception – after posting a reply, page sections are no longer collapsible, and section edit links reload the page instead of immediately loading the editor.
