Hey @Jdlrobson - I just wanted to check in and see if there had been any updates on your end (re: the current likelihood of using preact) and if you had a chance to chat with the Performance Team about this yet. I still owe you some security best practices around using preact, which I can hopefully provide sometime soon. Thanks.
I'm investigating this https://civicrm.org/extensions/email-address-corrector
Change 535941 had a related patch set uploaded (by Dzahn; owner: Dzahn):
[operations/puppet@production] add certificate for mwmaint servers
The 2.14 is from the tag, the rest i'm not sure.
Let's do the wave!!!!!
@nettrom_WMF to add link to draft Google doc and publish in Wikitech
@Niharika can we call this particular task resolved, since you've reported on results at Wikimania & in the Year in Review?
@Pginer-WMF the one with the dot at the end still has the issue (it counts for MT abuse), should we fix it on this ticket or open a new one?
We however use v2.14-82-g0636afe. Do we have an update from Upstream Gerrit @Paladox? I don't see that version in https://gerrit.googlesource.com/plugins/javamelody/
All right, seems to be related to the position:relative on #mw-content-text. That maybe shouldn't even be there (should probably be on a block around/under the firstheading)...
Update on zero.wikipedia.org: in August, the subdomain had received 5398 requests. What do we think is a reasonable cutoff for its removal?
@NNichols I originally assumed that the 'some' of the emails would be ones with spaces in them in Civi - but I only find about 1000 emails in our db that start or end in space so that seems unlikely - can you give me steps to replicate?
Analysis piece is done, next up is reporting & sharing with stakeholder
Checked the fix in betalabs - no display issues on Homepage
Change 535902 merged by jenkins-bot:
[mediawiki/extensions/FlaggedRevs@master] Add missing "use" to getTopReviewers()
Assuming the change to quibble works as expected, this should be fixed by minting the next version of quibble and updating CI jobs to use it.
Change 535938 had a related patch set uploaded (by Jforrester; owner: Jforrester):
[mediawiki/core@master] DevelopmentSettings: Disable output buffering to be more like production
Change 535260 merged by Ppchelko:
[mediawiki/event-schemas@master] Remove non semver (eventgate style) schemas
Change 535937 had a related patch set uploaded (by Jdlrobson; owner: Jdlrobson):
[mediawiki/core@master] Mobile friendly styling of Special:ListFiles
Change 535936 had a related patch set uploaded (by Dzahn; owner: Dzahn):
[operations/puppet@production] ATS: switch releases-jenkins to TLS
I've tried to force the update via HTTP and via SSH. None of them do work. I'm mentioning @mmodell and @thcipriani so they can take a look at the Phabricator account on Gerrit, as well K18/K19.
Change 535289 merged by jenkins-bot:
[mediawiki/services/parsoid@master] Use DOMElement::setIdAttribute() where necessary for efficiency
Change 534134 merged by jenkins-bot:
[integration/quibble@master] Deduplicate projects
Change 520240 merged by jenkins-bot:
[integration/quibble@master] Reduce side-effects
We're marking this lowest because it's stalled on operations concluding whether they want to support sentinel or not.
Still waiting on some direction here. Should this still be considered high priority?
Thanks very much, @ayounsi—I've passed this info onto WordPress. Will let y'all know when I hear more!
Oh! Awesome news, @JoeWalsh!
T232613 seems very similar but occurs way more frequently (~ 180 occurrences over four hours). Maybe that can be used to generate the core dump Tim has suggested?
