@matmarex: I re-checked this one on fr.wiki, and it seems to be still happening, the section with unfinished comment is still not expanding and stays inaccessible.

So, a possible reason to leave such a topic/comment would be a "sign here" workflow.
@DLynch: Could you provide a valid workflow where all-whitespace description will be counted as non-empty?

@ppelberg: It seems for the scenario mentioned in the fourth row on the table you created, if I press ctrl-enter couple times it publishes the new topic without any description.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:RYasmeen_(WMF)/sandbox#non-empty_subject_field_2
This is still happening and also the hint is showing up when there is just an empty line in the description field.

There is still a stray icon floating near the top of the page.

@matmarex :True. I just checked the logging of VisualEditorFeatureUse for the Realtime Preview. It's set to false for both logged in and anon users and it's set to true for temp users for WikiEditor.

Bartosz and I checked the API output for logged-out users from the API sandbox page for both IP masking enabled and disabled.
When intestactions is set to edit and intestactionsautocreate is enabled:
@DLynch: For the double-logging issue, I see it got fixed for the first scenario. But for the second scenario, where the user clicks on "Yes" on the "Add a citation", and then clicks on 'x' on the same dialog, it is still triggering the event twice.

@DLynch Right now the hint for pressing ctrl-enter for comment submission "You can press ⌘⏎ to submit your comment" is showing up when enter is used for cases where we are not allowing submitting comment, such as: when Description field is empty and the cursor is either on Subject field or the summary field. I wonder if it would be considered misleading?

Okay, moving it to Sign off then.
@DLynch: I checked T312587 for the implementation of mobile edit notice and T344465 for the instrumentation. Also while testing T344465 we verified that when the EditNoticesOnMobile gadget is enabled this new implementation won't show up. Is there anything left regarding this to verify from this task?
@matmarex: I checked few Edit Notices as you suggested, they seemed to be consistent through out different editors: Old Wikitext Editor, VisualEditor and New Topic tool in DT.
In T344465#9244904, @DLynch wrote:@Ryasmeen You're testing on enwiki, so could you verify that you've got the EditNoticesOnMobile gadget disabled?
If it's enabled, it entirely replaces the new built-in feature. Note below that the styling for me is different from yours on both the new feature and the gadget...

@DLynch: I am not seeing any Client-side logging on Mobile in production for logged in users with VisualEditorFeatureUse as feature: notices, action: show.
