Hello, this ticket T401288: Implement a more granular alias usage tracking may be of interest here; it will reduce the volume of Wikipedia (and other Wikis) Recent Changes and Watchlist changes coming from Wikidata, by applying more specific criteria before a change propagation is made. Although the mentioned ticket only covers edits to Aliases of Wikidata entities (not Descriptions), it does match the example given in this ticket's description.
Might be useful to mention here that some work is being done in this area to reduce noise in Recent Changes and Watchlists of other Wikis from Wikidata edits:
T401288: Implement a more granular alias usage tracking
T401286: Turn off Wikidata injection for qualifiers and references
While not a true filter, some work is being done in this area on T401288: Implement a more granular alias usage tracking that will reduce the volume of Wikidata aliases edits to recent changes and watchlist pages of other Wikis.

On Minerva skin, when a Wikidata edit is shown, the timestamp is always aligned to the right of the article name / QID, whereas regular local Wiki-edits shunt the timestamp below the article name. Perhaps this is intentional, or an oversight but was reported to us as an issue when readers/editors scan the page as they scroll and this layout change interrupts their flow.

tags - on Wikidata, this page lists information regarding the type of automatic edit summary and where/what the source is, shows many Bots.
Do these bot identifiers appear on Wikipedia watchists?

@Quiddity , it was an informational addition to celebrate reducing the page load time. I don't think in this case any redraft is necessary. I'll keep in mind the intended audience for any future updates/additions.
Thank you.

Defining success?
Feedback
Anecdotal (messages of support on talk pages, project chat)
Survey (measurable)
Pre-work buy in (votes / approval of work area)
More meaningful interaction with the edit summary
Conversely, less interaction and platform switching just for readers to understand changes
More adoption of Wikidata in WP articles
Less conflict, disputes on WD inclusion

- When do editors export articles from Wikipedia?
From some research I found the following points:
- MediaWiki:Help:Export - Why export? - more efficient than database download as avoids converting HTML to wikicode
- Backup / archive an article (may be particularly relevant for contentious issues where you expect a lot of edits, reversions, vandalism)
- Import article to another Wiki
- Use content in your own MediaWiki instance / fork
- Copy content and wikisyntax to another lang. wiki for in-place translation.
- Special: Export has checkboxes to export the content + Templates + SubTemplates + Gadgets
- Offline access: intermittent or limited internet connectivity, an offline-available version of the article.

Later this week, the location of the "Wikidata item" menu entry within the Tools sidebar, will be moved into the "Other Projects" section. Some wikis have already made this change locally. [ 1 ]

Hello, would it be possible to place the new Wiktionary's 'Main_Page' under the Project namespace, in order for it to connect to Wikidata Q5296 ? I don't think this can happen under the Article namespace due to Extension: Cognate.
