Working again

Sydney remembers correctly, I brought that in from a discussion on de:wp that unfortunately sprang up just a few days after the closing of the blocking consultations. The length dropdown menu with a flexible option would help solve a lot of the problems, but would still require some outside calculations for one common use-case on de:wp - reinstating a block that was lifted to allow the user to take part in public discussions on his/her request for unblocking. Here the datetime expiration picker would be perfect. But the length drowdown might have a wider range of applications across all wikis.
