Is this why Twinkle has stopped working in the ckbwiki? Only three pages are supposedly affected in the ckbwiki:
https://ckb.wikipedia.org/wiki/میدیاویکی:Gadget-UserMessages.js https://ckb.wikipedia.org/wiki/میدیاویکی:Gadget-popups/localcopy.js https://ckb.wikipedia.org/wiki/میدیاویکی:Vector.css
Not exciting news.

@Aklapper are there any next steps I should take or should I just wait until it’s implemented now?

@Cirdan it happened again? *face palm* I’m doing some changes to the URL templates, maybe it’s not the bot because it’s been observed to only act like that on that specific page *so far*.
@Cirdan thanks. Now I feel like a total idiot!
@Cirdan, I’m confused. If you’re referring to the closing ref code (</ref>) it is included in both the article and the code above in the accessdate section.
@Cirdan it’s exactly the same as the English Wikipedia. We use the same code and translate the visible texts. Here is the code:
@Cirdan IAB tags this template from the infobox repeatedly: {{url|https://www.libreoffice.org/}}. I don’t know why it returns to the page frequently. It may be because we have a low number of articles (23,000 articles)
I just had to force the bot from editing the page. I hope someone can take care of this.

One more thing I’d like to add: when you click on the “full statistics” link, the link redirects to the English version of XTools. It would be really good if the redirect was for the CKB version of the site.
the issue was this, in case it happens to anyone else on other wikis.
@Ammarpad I am pretty sure that is not the case. Is there any way we can pinpoint this issue? Could it be one of the codes in my common.js page?

Indeed. This is tricky since it is a JavaScript library that does not natively support numerical localization. I attempted a workaround but it turned into a rabbit hole. I will definitely give it another shot. I've created T218267 so we don't forget about it.

These numbers used in the English language are originally Arabic.
It is only affecting numerals. ar apparently uses Hindu-Arabic numerals, which I think is what you want? In T213503 you pointed to https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/ckb.wikipedia.org/%C3%89pine?uselang=ar saying these are the numerals that should be shown in ckb.
The change is up and running on our staging site, please verify everything looks correct: https://xtools-dev.wmflabs.org/ec/ckb.wikipedia.org/%C3%89pine?uselang=ckb
(also, do not use staging for general purpose, it is not intended to be stable :)

@Calak, that’s why I mentioned a link to the Arabic version of XTools, they use the numeral system we use there, so @MusikAnimal can get the code and patch it for us. That being said, I think we’re good to go, @MusikAnimal. I hope you can get back on this soon. Regards.
@MusikAnimal: we are on the right track, maybe @Calak misunderstood the request. I hope he can explain his comment, otherwise we can safely disregard it as there’s a local policy backing this request in the first place.
Jan 13 2019
@Calak not directly per se, but this policy (which was written in consensus of the community) clearly states that the standard numerals for the Central Kurdish Writing System is Hindo-Arabic (١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩٠) and the policy clearly dictates that Persian/Westernized Arabic should not be used. Also, a message was posted on the Village Pump alerting the community of the change, no one voted against except you, but your reasoning for being against this rational request is quite unclear. You simply voted against and stated that this issue should not be patched without the consensus of the community.

That data is actually coming from Extension:PageAssessments, which is only on a handful of wikis. Kurdish Wikipedia may be a good candidate, if their system is similar to others such as English and Arabic, where there is a parent template from which is used in all WikiProject templates. If you can confirm this, let me know and I'll see about getting PageAssessments deployed.
Querying Wikidata is an option, but from my experience it isn't as reliable, and it only includes FA/GA and not other assessment levels.
Thank you @MusikAnimal. That tool has another issue (in ckb at least) regarding class articles (FA & GA), It doesn’t show the star icons, even though they’re added on Wikidata. Hopefully you can also take care of this along with the previous issue.
Also, since we’re at it, [[MediaWiki:Gadget-XTools-ArticleInfo.js|this tool]] developed by @MusikAnimal also uses the wrong semicolon (;) and coma (,) they should be switched to (،) and (؛) same as Arabic/Persian/Urdu.

@Calak thanks!
Jul 29 2018
@Aklapper I believe so since he was ready to change it and made a comment locally.
@Aklapper please raise the task’s priority level to normal.
Jul 28 2018
@MusikAnimal could you please try ar numericals instead of Kurdish? From my understanding they use the same numericals we use in most Arabic regions as well. But the Arabic Wikipedia uses same numericals as the English Wikipedia, so if that’s the case then that’s not really an option either.

Thank you so much for the help @Reedy! Strange how it only stopped working after awhile, because at first it didn’t have any issues.
@Reedy that’s not really important, I did some research and saw that it wasn’t really important for us anymore, maybe that’s why no one was maintaining it. Anyway, what seems to be the issue this time? Is it local or not?
@Reedy what does this mean?
@Reedy & @Aklapper the exact translation for the error is this: Something went wrong when sending the message. Please try again. the system gives out this error in the final stages of composing the message (after you have chosen the WikiLove banner and press send or send message). You can try it for yourselves at the ckb wiki. That’s all the details I could give, I don’t know what is causing the error but it’s defintley not a local error.

@MusikAnimal thank you for trying!
@MusikAnimal aww :( that's disappointing. Could you at least try what you just mentioned please? Even if it didn't work (who knows, it actually might). I'm not a programmer but I'm willing to help with any translations, we actually have a programmer at CKB, if you needed you can contact him: User: Muhammed taha

@Framawiki all good now. Thanks.

@Petrb it gives me this error: Login failed, unable to parse local confit for ckbwiki: y'all-cop: error at line 187, column 1: end of map not found.
@MusikAnimal I hope you noticed that the Kurdish numbers aren't the same as the persian numbers.

@Cyberpower678 already done. Is everything good now?
@Aklapper I have no idea how to do it myself, but I can provide you with the translations:
Feb 16 2018
Anyone?
@Aklapper it is done in the Arabic Wikipedia. The translate If to لو and ifequation and ifexist... etc... if they can I'm sure so can we.
Feb 15 2018
@Aklapper I didn't repeat the #, they should both be #ئەگەر & #ئەگەر_ھەبوو. Meaning it actually does include the #. And I'm not sure what you exactly refer to it with, but whatever it is, let it be, maybe magic word wasn't the correct word I used here.

@Petrb I can't properly translate it without being able to use Huggle in the project first, it makes it way too hard. Is it ready to be activated or translating it first is a must?
Jan 25 2018
@Petrb please do help to determine the mandatory phrases for translation. We can focus on the filtered words later.
@Framawiki hey! I've completed all the requests. Anything else I need to do?
