"Yuck" indeed. It seems that reaching out to the end users and getting their opinion on changes like this would save time and headaches for many involved. Pushing out unwanted changes continues, I guess.

Probably more accurate to say "home wiki" given that is what is used in the requests themselves. I don't believe it tracks where the request actually came from, but I could be wrong.

This should be reverted to what it was while you are figuring out how to deploy it properly, if you even end up deploying it. Where is the discussion that said that this is something that needed to be done or wanted to be done?

Constant demands of "revert it now" are as unhelpful as they are short. This is clearly a change that is here to stay (OOjs-UI, that is), so your time would be better spent making recommendations on improving it, as you began to do on VPT.
