Thanks both! I just emailed the .mbox file to @jcrespo - it's not small (44MB) so let's see how this goes.

Update: I @SandraF_WMF have access to the mbox file and can send it to whomever can do the archives import. Please ping me when that's possible.

And the post is live !!! 🕺 https://space.wmflabs.org/2019/11/26/introducing-isa-a-cool-tool-for-adding-structured-data-on-commons/ 💃
Adding to the WMSE-Tools-for-Partnerships-2019-Blueprinting tracking board, because we are looking whether something like this would be in scope for that work.
Nov 26 2019
Absolutely - the draft is up for review there now.

Thank you! Much appreciated 😀

The workflow is documented here:
We received two major pieces of feedback on mapping GLAM ontologies to StructuredDataOnCommons
However, another campaign-oriented approach for adding StructuredDataOnCommons was explored in GLAM pilot projects: doing structured data contributions to existing Wikimedia Commons files, with the ISA tool.
Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 ended up not using StructuredDataOnCommons for various reasons unfortunately.
WLM ended up not using StructuredDataOnCommons in its 2019 campaign, because of various reasons (including that the structured data addition in the UploadWizard interface made the upload process too complex for newcomers). Therefore this blog post will not be written. However, other types of campaigns with structured data, for instance using the ISA tool, will be discussed in other blog posts.
It's unfortunately not yet possible to do batch uploads with tools that are non-coder friendly (i.e. Pattypan, for instance, does not support Structured Data yet). Therefore declining this task, although I will talk about batch editing StructuredDataOnCommons for GLAM files in other blog posts.

It was unfortunately not possible to run this SDC pilot project before the end of the 2017-19 StructuredDataOnCommons grant period. Reasons include unexpected wmflabs issues, see T217954: Recover ign.ign2commons.eqiad.wmflabs. I'm looking into possibilities to do a small-scale tryout of structured data descriptions to digitized maps via another way.

@Islahaddow is working on this. We are co-authoring the blog post.
The Wiki Loves Africa ISA campaign is running at this moment.

Offsite concluded, now on to next steps.
And here's a very brief report of what we discussed together during the offsite.

The offsite was held and fruitful! Currently summarizing.

A good point of inspiration can be this one from WMDE: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Deutschland/Data_Partnerships_Model/Roles_and_Responsibilities

And I came up with the name ISA-ART but perhaps it can be another name, also inspired by chiShona?
This may be a nice project for a hackathon, for instance :-)

@Effeietsanders I hope to publish this blog post no earlier than October-November, but that is indeed pending on whether one or more of this year's Wiki Loves Monuments national campaigns has/have done something with StructuredDataOnCommons. Changing status to Stalled for now, while I wait what will happen on this front :-)
Updated subtasks resulting from this task. This is done as far as I'm concerned! :-)
