Even writing issue comments takes significant time, you are probably aware what resources would be required to actually disassemble the WMF OPS structure just to be able to offer viable solutions to be implemented. I guess most inputs are simply rejected by the team because they lack the overall insight of the structure. It'd require significantly more pro-bono time that I have on hand.

I'm more than happy to add WMF as maintainers. It's not unmaintained, but no one has been bugging me about changes/fixes (I made a fix a month ago or so on request).
