Then I exit my console by using exit command. Then I gave the command ssh login-stretch.tools.wmflabs.org. It showed the error

Actually, I haven't resolved the problem yet. Since it is a mediawiki interface, it requires the work of interface admins(you might be knowing that). In Malayalam wikisource, there are no interface admins present. I am interested in becoming an interface admin and is currently waiting for the reply of lonely active admin(till yesterday) to respond regarding the time at which the election is going to be conducted next. Anyway, by editing the file mentioned by you, I am pretty sure it will solve the problem. Yet another problem that requires the work of interface admin was this one.

It is a loop through which the query is being executed. So, each of those values namely 0 and 1 will be executed each time through a set of values which are given in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T209780#4773163. Sorry for deleting that file. I have restored that file. In the file for cronjob, I have given the command qstop linter_error_dump first and then tried with the command qstop /data/project/fireflytools/linter_error_dump.sh. In both those cases, I got the following error:

/data/project/fireflytools/.bashrc: line 1: /data/project/fireflytools/env/bin/activate: No such file or directory
"-":34: bad minute
errors in crontab file, can't install.
/usr/local/bin/crontab: unable to execute remote crontab command

I was able to remove the file using rm command. I have also deleted the .err and .out files but the updation is not ready yet. If you can, please verify whether the files are being placed in the same environment. Why I asked that is because: In Putty, I am typing the command 'become fireflytools' through a prefix (env) but after typing that, the prefix is not seen. So, whether that might be the reason?

I don't know how that hyphen came as shown by you in second code fragment. I have changed both of them but it still doesn't work. I have some doubts from the two code fragments shown by you. Firstly, in code fragment 1, its written

#!/usr/bin/env python3

but it is bot found in second image. Secondly, there is difference in the source file also. Also, in the linter_error_dump.err page, I am getting an error "there is a job named 'linter_error_dump' already active". So do I need to remove that file named linter_error_dump.sh or do I need to remove that file from cron job?

I need the help of any of the member here to check the code present in the page https://github.com/adithyak04/fireflytools . I am unable to update the remaining two pages namely long_redirects and linter_counts. I tried all my methods known but has failed. If somebody can, please check why it is not running. Currently, I need the values in both these pages to get updated every 30 minutes. The query for long_redirects is correct. But have doubt regarding whether anything needs to be done with the dump file. Especially the statement that starts with !(exclamatory mark).

But I have installed toolforge through the windows command prompt by using the command "pip install toolforge". I don't know whether anything needs to be changed in the tool through shell or not.

I would like to point out one more thing. When I visited the page liner_counts.err, I was able to find the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "/mnt/nfs/labstore-secondary-tools-project/fireflytools/linter_counts.py$
  import toolforge

So I guess it might be an issue related to the package 'toolforge'

Thanks for assigning me the responsibilities. I actually don't have any experience in maintaining tools but knows programming very much. I would like to know the place where I can ask my doubts regarding updating the tool(Those are not regarding the specific tool instead its in general).

First of all, I have already mentioned in the beginning of the post that in our malayalam wikipedia, there are not many users who know to create and edit templates. In such a case, we can rely only on wikipedias in which the modules are created and have knowledge about it. I am one such user who work on templates. In my case, I can handle small errors that have occurred. In this case, I was not able to find out the real problem. Also, I haven't ,till date used the Special:Export feature. How I create templates is through clicking the Wanted templates pages and also those present on random pages. @Whatamidoing-WMF, if I see any problems like this, I will first discuss it in Technical Help Desk of English wikipedia and if it is not resolved, I will be posting it here as done like this one.

The pages mentioned by Jacob.jose still exists on the very same page. The purging is not correctly happening on that page. That page was last updated on September 10 2018.
