@Xaosflux, Sure, it impacts readers coming from Google. But thats the whole reason for NPP in the first place, to filter out the articles that SHOULDN'T be found on Google. From the first paragraph on WP:NPR : {{tq| In order to better control the quality of new pages—to address common unwanted content such as spam, copyvios and nonsense}}. From WP:NPP {{tq| New Page Patrol is equally responsible for finding articles which do not follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines }} Thats the whole purpose of the WikiProject existing. You are suggesting that just because the RfC being posted here is old means that we should just abandon the whole purpose of NPP and let those articles be released anyway?
