It would be great to have the totals restored. I find them very valuable

I have re-opened this tsk because I have just had the false "You have been blocked from editing" message

I did a little burrowing, and I now see what IAbot should do:
Dec 12 2021
It appears that this bug may have been fixed in the upgrade to v2.0.8.4 of IAbot. See these 2 bot edits:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=1059937012 : bot adds archive links without disturbing existing unhyphenated parameter "accessdate"
- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=1059934705 - bot adds archive link to https://legalcounselbd.com/by-executing-cht-peace-accord-bangladesh/ without disturbing existing unhyphenated parameter "accessdate"

This is a duplicate of the pre-existing T291704, to which it should be merged. I dunno how to do the merge

As a workaround until the bot is fixed, i have written a wee script to add dashes to cite parameters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:BrownHairedGirl/CiteParamDashes.js

An example where the bot duplicated all three parameters in two refs: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anantram_Jaiswal&diff=1046529844&oldid=1043151348
Another example where the bot duplicated all three parameters in one ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ananthasayanam_(1942_film)&diff=prev&oldid=1046524138
This is still happening, to three parameters which have optional hyphens:

The fake "you are blocked" thing has just cleared for me: the bot did https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=1045784815
Sep 21 2021
It's still doing it. The error message is "Analysis error: blocked: You have been blocked from editing."
I am not blocked
This has just happened to me this morning. I am not blocked, and https://iabot.toolforge.org/index.php?page=user&id=5852725&wiki=enwiki knows that i am not blocked, but when I submit a page the bot says I am blocked.

I just took a quick look at the progress and I think it will start replicating again in around 24h, it will slowly catch up on replication, but given how loaded those hosts are, it will take maybe another day or two to be fully in sync with the master.
Keep in mind that this only affects enwiki and wikidatawiki. The rest of wikis are in sync with their respective masters.

Hope this helps to clarify the situation.

The failure to fix this bug means that has a negative effect on maintenance, because the use of PAGESINCATEGORY to report on the size of tracking categories gives inaccurate results.

Thanks for the change, Rjwilmsi.
