For example testwiki is not a very general educational resourse either, but it is still a wikimedia project. I do not see phab using another cms changing much. It could be arguable if phab were only accessible for logged in people (at least that was kind of an argument I heard on otrs wiki where people disregarded licensing policy as well), but it is not.

@mmodell, could you read the task description please? There is a policy when fair use could be used on Wikimedia projects and there is no complience with it on Phabricator at the moment.

In Special:Log contribs are red in account creation entries where people have 0 edits, but all the accounts are existent of course. So I think there are at least 2 meanings to red contribs link.

While with adding the edit summary field to TUX it became bearable to translate there, I only know how to proofread translations in tux=0. Disabling it would disable possibility to review translations for me.

The Topic pages look deleted without admin rights but they look alive when you have admin rights. While it at least provides screen between potentially not sharable information and the outside world it is counter-intuitive that unlike revision delete sysops see it right away rather than after clicking two times. Flow should either act as other pages do or be gone, IMHO.

Judging from the config edited mapframe, but not static mapframe whatever it is, is and was enabled on all wikis that are not Wikipedias. So all chapter wikis, but also all Wikiquotes at al. It is easy to check on Special:Version at the bottom where supported tags are listed.

Hm, though it this case it looks that ns8 page was created through workflow state change, so this probably means that the problem you described exists even when people dance the tune the current system dictates, I was wrong.

Translate tracks CNBanner ns translation and skips direct additions to ns8. Perfectly not only should ns8 be autoedited on workflow state setting to Published for CNBanner but vice versa synchronisation should exist. Now it happens occasionally that people with ns8 namespace access fix translations directly, then someone fixes something else in CNBanner copy, that one gets published and this yields in the ns8 fix being overwritten. Awkward system really, as I see why people do those direct ns8 edits — it takes one action and not 2 + autoedit (edit CNBanner copy, set workflow state, "win" another edit on doing the latter action)

I guess this does count as an investigation :), but it is worth to check the thing Marco mentioned, I actually think that group was still there on the acc. If groups remain on the accounts after they are deleted it looks like a problem to be solved worth a separate task (it makes sense for deletion of a group to trigger removing all the people from it). And yeah, another one is to clean the db off such records already present. This task after or even before that might be considered resolved probably, imho.

Why are existing Help pages bad? I might be naïve, but I truly believe that board members who have no problems to read long official letters and grant applications and reports would have no problem reading the existing docs, so would other active organisation members.
