IIRC, we would also like to know which wikis have it enabled - not just a plain count of how many (title might be misleading here). I think this was to then decide whether we want to only enable the feature on wikis that don't have the gadget enabled by default as a first step.
If this is still relevant and a route we want to go is up to product management to decide.
IMO a solution that detects the gadget and then provides the user with the option to turn the one or the other on/off might be what we really want in the end.

This was about a session at the Hackathon in 2019.

This task is not assigned to any project but the to-be-archived WMDE-TechWish. I guess it's obsolete by now, but since @Lea_WMDE is assigned to it, I leave it up to you to close it or move it to an appropriate project.

I agree with more consistency. I'd rather make it not too general though. I like @WMDE-Fisch 's suggestion of using "WMDE Technical Wishes Team" and linking to the meta page. For listing individual developers, what about doing it like other extensions, e.g. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Version/Credits/BetaFeatures?
