Those variants are better off with fallback chains as Mediawiki (that’s a nice system)

Even 10 or 15 might be safer for CJK if the article is a sentence. I might only need 6 characters to build a sentence.
Different languages can vary a lot. But if the only motivation is to avoid <br> tag why not bring the condition into the detection?

@Addshore I was actually proposing storage/data model. If I have some information about how the data gets rendered from DB, I might be able to submit patches.

I want to help with this. Wikibase doesn't cover this now. It's much more reasonable to fix this on their end. Maybe you can chime in and ask Wikidata people? @RHo

Would be good to start using SemVer.

It doesn't seems to have any task to track Chinese language variant for Wikidata. But I'm not sure. I'd be grateful if anyone can link that or create a task.

As far as I remember, Discourse has a PHP SSO example. It will be super easy to use. But it doesn’t have Unicode username support.
You can find custom commands in container/app.yml. If you have external PG service, discourse can use that.

docker_manager usually doesn’t affect the rails server at all. But in case of failure, use launcher rebuild app. If still with errors, that should give a meaningful output.

So sorry, I forgot to put up the relevant context. WAM stands for Wikipedia Asian Month which is an annual online event that aims to promote Asian content in Wikipedia. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_Asian_Month
Starting from this year, we plan to communicate with our local organizers more efficiently. We found out Discourse running on OpenStack has many limitations so we think it's best to use a mailing list to notify our local organizers for judging, timing and prizes. It generally should be a low traffic list.

Ok. I'll wait for John's response. We now have Shizhao and one other jury for last two rounds now. It would be best for us to have 3~4 experts to do these two rounds.
Oct 10 2017
@Shizhao Would you like to be a juror from this round for WLM 2017?
Any luck for this? I'm looking forward to an rating round. We have 289 photos for now.
Oct 2 2017
@LilyOfTheWest 's suggestion is our plan right now. Addis and I are filtering photos in the first round. We'll handle all the validation for such. The international jury can solely work on judging the professional level of photos.
@Mrjohncummings Oh, sorry, my bad. We would like a juror or two who is interesting in Chinese monuments starting from Oct 9th.
@Mrjohncummings Would you confirm that you can join our jury process from Round 2 which will starts at next Tuesday?

The campaign page has set up. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2017_in_China

@Jseddon It's nearly perfect as it covers the majority case we may face. As long as we have link to each other, we are good to go. I'll discuss this with WMTW folks.

That helps, thanks :) I would like to ask help for the mail of the infrastructure. As of Discourse, it will need SMTP server for outgoing emails (with verp support) and a POP3 account for incoming emails.

It makes much more sense to me now. A short name discourse-wam would make it easier for future configuration. I edited the project name for clarity. Thank you for the advice.
@AddisWang suggests to me that the project name may have a long url as a result. I would think it will be perfectly fine if we can assign the domain to the instance, e.g. community.asianmonth.wiki.
Sure, I am perfectly fine with discourse-for-wiki-asian-month.
