Title change: it was no longer what I wrote, which was very clear, you finally improved it, thanks.
HTML server: a server that serves HTLM to be viewed by a HTML browser.
"your": not mine, that is Phabricator's. Its very obvious problem is that it doesn't display the HTML you send it in an e-mail. Plus, e-mail refusal reasons are not understandable (e.g. ... quoted replies ... are discarded).
Explaining: it was/remains very clear.
However I added an Update to the description.
I try to write like others, in 1 or 2 phrases, else people don't read, they only watch videos.

I'm afraid that if your HTML server were capable to display correctly
the same thing as in the HTML e-mail I sent, you would probably have
understood right away. It was refusing my e-mail and I spent ½h to send
it and to get that result.
So, I put my e-mail on my own server to displays HTML correctly:
http://papou.byethost9.com/tmp/Wikimedia%20mail.html
You can see that if you copy&paste the title This is the e-mail from
Papou to Wikimedia
http://papou.byethost9.com/tmp/Wikimedia%20mail.html you get a
clickable link to that page. You see that if you copy&paste the
Wikipedia excerpt down below, you get a nice abstract with a title
clickable to get the Wikipedia article (opening a new window).
That's nothing magic or clever, just normal doing.

No.
I am in fact against seeing Wiki references like this all the time, most
often unreadable, let's not speak of Russian etc.

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esp%C3%A9rance_de_vie_corrig%C3%A9e_de_l%27incapacit%C3%A9

What I was saying exactly is that the Wiki page should look like this:

Espérance de vie corrigée de l'incapacité
<https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esp%C3%A9rance_de_vie_corrig%C3%A9e_de_l%27incapacit%C3%A9>

On utilise souvent
l'acronyme anglais https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglais /DALY/

and that copying&pasting that, say to an e-mail, is a much, much, much
nicer reference than the above.
I don't see at all what adding that link clutters, especially since you
can make the underline invisible.
But that would be a bad idea, as the reader would not self-discover that
easy-do-it feature.
And it is, on the contrary, quite relevant to the readers.
What you call "Permanent link" in the sidebar is probably "Citer cette
page".
It produces exactly what I try to avoid (readers probably copy the
address bar).
