I think they have different audiences, actually, and should therefore remain separate. Maybe every so often there will be a point that overlaps, but overall they serve different user needs. That being said, finding best practices in formatting between the two would be most excellent (I have to say though, Tech/News's format and cadence seems pretty easy to translate and digest, so we'd need a good reason to modify it :)

Not at all the same, and no blockers between the two.
"Idea" is a suggestion, "support" is less the action of support and more the idea *has* support. As mentioned, extremely rough.

Community tech is moving forward - retrospective not needed, action is pending.

Added Community Tech - I don't know if this task is deemed necessary; I may have been holding onto it for you. It was intended to discuss the results in a concise way to check feasibility (some are server heavy; one of them, like the copyright tool, might be best left in its current iteration/not expanded to a gadget because of what it does, etc)
