Hey @Aklapper we need urgent assistance to approve new accounts created on phabricator for an event today. We will appreciate if someone could approve to afford the participants a chance to explore the platform.

Follow up with participants to keep contributing to MediaWiki. This is still a work in progress, however @D3r1ck01 is tasked to ensure the participants a spoon fed with tasks and (or) always are reminded of tasks the could contribute to.

Thanks to all who supported this initiative we are glad that it happened and looking forward to what ensues. Read more about how it went here - https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Project/Rapid/OFWA/African_Wikimedia_Developers/Report

A couple of questions:
- Are there any pictures?
- Have you thought what to do to retain at least 10% of the participants at lesast during the next 12 months? It would be great to see other African volunteer developers thriving in the next months, and meeting them at Wikimania 2018!

The planning phase of the project is completely done now, and Accra is ready to host the event!
In T156153#3343901, @Qgil wrote:In order to "build a team", one important step is to ask participants in developer events to leave their email address so we can reach out to them with new activities, online or otherwise.
Please coordinate with @Rfarrand on the best way to organize this, since she is doing this for the events we organize. Thank you!
