@Milimetric @Nuria : Thanks for your views on this.
Seems like team is quite happy with the pink background, so I'll keep it the same.

@Nuria: This task has already been merged and deployed so I think we can move it to the done column on the Kanban board :-]

@Milimetric @Nuria @mforns : I'm running into an issue with this task, refactoring CSS using PostCSS & CSS variables. Whenever I try to import CSS variables file or define the CSS variables at the start of App.vue file they are somehow not getting resolved, also PostCSS is not compiling them as it should. Whenever I define the CSS variables at the beginning of App.vue file as

Color contrast of footer text & links are taken care of in T191672 so updating the description.
@mforns @Volker_E : I was going through the task description and I couldn't see the need of a label along with the search inputs? Can you please clarify if you are thinking of this from any other point of view. The 'Explore Topic' heading & the search placeholders are pretty much making clear what the search input is for. Let me know what you think.

Just to put it up, the #2 issue is not specific to just line charts but it is also observed in bar charts. Here is an image:

Okay, would be working on 2 things for this task:
@mforns : Updated the timeline & deliverables based on the new tasks added. Have kept the unassigned tasks for the end, by that time we can merge them with my suggested new improvements.

Wikipedia has a newly (not sure) implemented feature of a Page Preview Overlay when ever you hover on a hyperlink. It extracts 1/2 para information from the linked wikipedia page and displays it to the user upfront so that they can make a decision of going further to read the full info or not. This can maybe a good implementation for this task. Here is a screenshot for reference.

@Milimetric : Thanks for your views on this. I would be very interested to work on this task as a part of my GSoC project. @mforns has already added this as one of the subtasks for the GSoC project.
@Milimetric : Thanks for the info. Will keep the language of the copyright same in the upcoming patch.

Here is the updated mock-up for the footer. Have paid more attention to CSS in this one. Improvements/corrections made :
- Wikimedia logo is correctly aligned.
- Corrected the copyright statement.
- Improved the color of hyperlinks. These hyperlinks take a subtle brighter color on hover, which is not that odd but noticeable at the same time.
- Improved the margins and paddings.

Sorry for all the above mess. Was facing some issues with merging/commits. Successfully restored.
@mforns : Just checked on other 3 browsers, it works perfectly. We should be good to go. Cheers ;-)
@mforns It works fine on 1. Chrome on OSX & 2. Safari for now. I'll test the other 3 as soon as I can. If someone else can do it in the meantime it would be great. Cheers!
@mforns : No worries at all :-) I'll find other tasks to work on.
Removing myself from 'Assigned To'.
