@WMDE-Fisch Doesn't this just hide the problem? These newlines are coming from somewhere, and I can't think of a valid reason for them, so the root cause really should be fixed imo.

@MMiller_WMF this falls into the missed design review of the topic intro overlay, so I have added it to T244421 since it seems like it should be fixed as part of that task.

Adding {{coord}} template to article in relevant language seems to solve the problem. Pages that have {{coord}} templates within Infoboxes, are not included in the API query result therefor not displayed on map, neither the ones with coordinates available on wikidata.

I looked at the code base and couldn't find any instance that EntityLinkFormatterFactory object would be set as property id of an statement. Unless some eval magic is involved and we would have bad lua in clients invoking this but I highly highly doubt that.
