Indeed, there's nothing really to fix here (or something changed between 2018 and now): perf-roots grants a few people root access on app servers and caches to help them debug some issues. deployment access is moslty unrelated to that.
Yes, there's definitely something weird going on.
The RESTBase for these two wikis were deployed at the same time as for fatwiki and guwwikinews, and on those wikis everything seems to work as expected. Thanks for looking into it!
I'd say let's just remove legacy_compat, nothing should rely on it anymore.
Oh, thanks for that information! It works for me when I do that, but that's probably because I also have the admin bit. But even for me, as an admin, I have to change the test project to be able to create those pages, which is not ideal.

- Organizers would not be entering the course URL, but rather the course slug (shown in the management interface of the course); I think this would be a simple wording change.
Can you share a screenshot or describe how to access the course slug?
Why is the slug being used instead of the URL?
- The AC say «Tooltip text should read: "Usernames of publicly registered participants are automatically sent to the tracking tool link specified."», but that's not consistent with the prototype below, where this text is shown below the field. I would like to confirm that we want both the tooltip and the info text below, and update the AC accordingly (or that the AC are actually correct, and then the difference with the prototype should be pointed out in the task description)
Is the course slug a link?
- We would also have to show two additional pieces of information, as per T320434#8760793 and previous comment: the date & time of the last synchronization with the tool, and, if the last update failed, a warning notice informing the organizer that the tool is not in sync with the event. We do not have prototypes for these AFAIK. We may also decide to put this information elsewhere depending on our decision on T334142.
Why do we need to show this information to the organiser?
We probably need to show it at a more visible place such as event details or the participants list.
- As described in T331940, we need to inform organizers that private participants are not synced with the dashboard. Maybe we could just modify the info text to say "Usernames of publicly registered participants..."?
I wonder what would be the organizer's reaction to this. The information on the dashboard helps them monitor contributions and measure the impact of their event.
@Aklapper I can reproduce it, using your link the download doesn't start. But download is also happening for me using Chrome, please double check this issue with this link: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:NewFiles#/media/File:Cassetta_porta-ushabti_di_Nya_STO0829.tif
Perhaps it is happening only with tif files?

During the last Eng/Design sync we decided that aspect ratios will not be defined as tokens but they will be included in the Image component as component's property. So I've created the Figma spec sheet accordingly with this and adding the following:
It will need three components:

- An admission controller to add the envvars to the pods when creating them, this would be similar to the volume-admission-controller

Note this is more or less the same thing as T336705: Section-level images: Improvements for add caption onboarding (there are some slight differences in how the popup would be displayed for onboarding vs. click on the help icon).
Please let me know if I'm missing something but I think T335232: Section-level images: Add caption help already covers this task, unless we want the (otherwise identical looking) "onboarding" and "help" dialogs to have different content (there are some slight differences in the mockups, e.g. whether the article title is mentioned).

The idea is to fully reclone clouddb1021 for all the sections, with grants and p databases and once all the views are created there too, clone the other hosts from that one, so we don't have to set up the, users, grants and views again. We can save time that way.
