Many experienced users aren't aware of this and requesting a user do a task, in this case to write an edit synopsis, when not doing that task results in a better result is very weird software behavior

I do see code that suggest support has been added, but as my upload shows it did fail earlier today

At the hackathon 2025 I improved on the part that mages an individual's family name to a Q-item. It should now also support family names with affixes, as is common in Dutch names.
Last year at the Hackathon I improved on the documentation somewhat by creating a README and linking to that from the landing page.
The way "described by source" works was also improved uppon at last year's hackathon, and had already gotten a toggle long before that.
The matching of family names can be further improved uppon, and adding a custom statement is a repeatedly requested feature.

That worked, thanks!

The "remove pdf" option not working for the "Molenstraat Oldenzaaal" search results is something that happens in Chrome both on desktop and on mobile.

This is still an issue btw. If I follow the gerrit link above there seems to have been a merge issue? Would be great if this was fixed.

I've added the proposed changes and dont see much of an improvement? Only when you're adding a new statement seems the be an improvement.

Rewrote the search function to cut out the expensive sparql-query and no longer filter out long-dead folks.

Adding the reference as a "described by source" statement is something that can be toggled on/off

It can now calculate a dob based on age + date of published ref.

That looks great! Thank you so much. It looks like it also fixes the same issue the input field for the qualifier has:

ah, had forgotten about this. Would probably get a data dump from them if I'd ask. Won't have time to process that data any time soon though so might as well close this ticket.

See Google's Save Browsing API, stopbadware.org seems to have resolved to redirect people to that as well.

I've aske FDMS4 if they could make an new repository for the new version. I could also fork it myself maybe?
I haven't been involved in the development of this tool before. As far as I can tell that's mainly been user:FDMS4.

The main task here is that the data about the photos still needs to be scraped. Uploading could be done with Pattypan. I could do it myself but don't have the time atm.
