AWesterinen closed T311171: Query using wikibase:label returns the item id as Resolved.

That explanation is reasonable. I missed the documentation that said that the service falls back to Q-id in case of no label.

AWesterinen added a comment to T225205: Support for named graphs in SPARQL query federation.

This will be addressed with the move to an alternative backend (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T206560). A test case for this particular problem will be added to the WDQS Testing (https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:AndreaWest/WDQS_Testing).

AWesterinen added a comment to T299460: Evaluate the Apache Jena Framework.

There are multiple aspects to a solution including making better use of federation. So, I would not rule out a single server but indeed, it is not feasible without making additional changes. Please see Blazegraph Candidate Alternatives for some (work-in-progress) thoughts.

AWesterinen added a comment to T290240: Evaluate whether RDF Delta is a good idea to have in the backend.

Since updates are not part of the WDQS feature set (no SPARQL INSERT/DELETE), the issues are whether 1) RDF-Delta has value for users with local installs and/or 2) improves the new stream updater.

AWesterinen added a comment to T299460: Evaluate the Apache Jena Framework.

@AndySeaborne Agree. I was erring on the side of explaining where the SPARQL endpoint came from (not Jena TDB).

I do not believe so, but will investigate it further. You CAN use Zookeeper to also create a high availability RDF-Delta service.

AWesterinen added a comment to T299460: Evaluate the Apache Jena Framework.

You add Fuseki to Jena to get a SPARQL endpoint. Jena + Fuseki is reasonable to investigate as a Blazegraph Alternative.

AWesterinen added a comment to T290240: Evaluate whether RDF Delta is a good idea to have in the backend.

RDF-Delta can be used with Jena-Fuseki to replicate Jena DBs across servers for HA. I will be investigating it as part of the Blazegraph Alternatives analysis.
