We even have a guide for doing this: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Delete_a_wiki

I assumed that this wiki is not heavily used, but it is always a good idea to learn from the past for the future, so it might still be helpful.

Or maybe @Jopparn or @Eric_Luth_WMSE who also have access to that wiki

There is no need for a hurry. I just wanted to try out Gerrit without messing around at the real Gerrit instance. Yes, I know that we also have GitLab, but I have not yet actually used it.
Feb 14 2023
It would be great if one would be able to perform actions at the test instance, but if this is not possible I will look out for another solution.
Well, you have written that it should be possible to use the regular account. I just wanted to try out if it works.
Feb 13 2023
Yes, I can sign in with my regular developer account.
b) is probably related to T329535

There seems to be consensus that we will not do this, because it allows access to sensitive information and because rights can already be granted by users with the global staff right.

This is exactly the reason why I have declined the task a few lines above.

Created T318227 for moving both pages. They belong to Wikimania 2020.

@Jdforrester-WMF Is this wiki still needed?

This is not a valid phabricator task. Please discuss this directly in dewiki. Your comment was already revision-deleted.

Since all other things have been changed from ombudsmen to ombuds, I think we should change the domain as well. There would be no benefit in keeping the old one altough the name of the commission has changed. On the other hand I think we can wait a few days until the new commission starts their term.

The page was already removed from the translation system by @Pppery (https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&logid=20410051). But it seems like there have not been very many translations (https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&limit=50&offset=0&ns1198=1&search=subpageof%3A%22Technical+Decision+Forum%2FTechnical+Decision+Making+Process%22&advancedSearch-current={%22fields%22:{%22subpageof%22:%22Technical%20Decision%20Forum/Technical%20Decision%20Making%20Process%22}}). We will just have to mark https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Technical_decision_making for translation and then see if we can use some of the old translations (the translate extension should suggest using them, if they have the same content).

Sorry, but I do not have edit access to legal related pages on this wiki. I can just use the translation system.

All pages listed here are fixed.
I have marked the page for translation again seven minutes ago, but nothing has happened.
This happened as well on https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Tools/Lexicographical_data/de
Maybe this is the same as T288700
The same problem appears on betawikiversity:

On mediawiki.org, there is an API: namespace (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AllPages?from=&to=&namespace=104). Maybe we should think about importing these pages, once the translate extension is enabled on apiportal.

Well, it should be no problem to add / change the relevant pages in MediaWiki namespace, but I do not have the relevant user group rights (editinterface).

We still need to revert the change in beta
In the RfC there was no consensus für enabling local short descriptions.
