@bearND @Dbrant Hey, another update on this bug. I still didn't manage to give a way of reproducing, but I managed to catch the bug in action: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bug_T146747_Scroll_status_preserved.webm

@bearND Yes, tables as well as infoboxes. That is part of the problem. So a little more detail:
- When opening an infobox, as I usually do, then scrolling further down, then going to a link and coming back, the infobox is closed and I am on a completely different part of the site. This in my eyes is more of an inconvenience than a hard bug, but ...
- This behaviour sometime continues to the next site, where I start in the middle of the page instead of the top. This then goes on to every following page until I restart the app. Since I reported the issue, I encountered the bug 2-3 times, but wasn't able to find a cause or obvious means of reproduction except heavily use of the app, opening outside wikilinks in the app, repeatedly switching windows, editing, going back to tabs I opened long ago etc ...
Hope this will help at least a little to track down the bug :)

... it's tables! I could partly reproduce the issue. If you open a table and then go on to another page, when you come back, you are on another point of the page as the table closed.

Hey Dbrant,
thanks for looking into this issue. Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the behaviour as I since restarted the App. Possible actions I took, which could have triggered the behaviour:
- Changed task while on a wiki site, switched to browser and clicked a link there which in turn was opened in the app again.
- Opened links and redirects with a hash inside (e. g. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_App#Develoment) from browser, from app, and from app search bar.
- Frequently changed language version of a page. (de <-> en)
- Edited pages, and saved edits.

Entlinkts edit in the Template on de.wiki did the trick. Coordinates are shown properly now: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Properly_displayed_coordinates_in_Android_App.png

I'm sure, it's not a duplicate
