Now I am confused as well.... The banner is a clone from the 2023 one, and we used the same code in 2022 as well, originating from the Wikipedia20 banner in 2021.
The banners have all run their course now, but maybe for a next year:

Peter, maybe you have an idea?

CN campaigns have been disabled.
I found two campaigns that display a banner for the North-America conference.
I have disabled them both, and will notify the CN admin via the request page for that banner.

Please help me to correct suggested translations in the term base.
When translating single sentences, the error is understandable since the word 'citaat' does exist in Dutch, but is context dependent and >90% of the time it should be translated as 'referentie'. The proposed translation should be different though.
For understanding: the linked message was to show/help see how often machine translations get it wrong.
@Nikerabbit what is the link for the translation of the cite button in visual editor? That history might help illustrate my point.

Sorry to have bothered you:
it wasn't any of the extensions but clearing the cookies helped.

It's very difficult to see how much the banners are effected, since we don't know the cause. It's only people from the ar community that say "we don't see the banners!".

Thanks for looking into this @Etonkovidova.

Both don't happen with the normal upload form, also not when manually including the monumentID template.
Could this be related to the previous fixes in T365560?
I confirm what happens (can reproduce).

Not every former banner will be used as a template, but then again, we sometimes do copy 'last years banner' for a yearly campaign.
I know that all WLM banners that are up now (23, I think, 30 more next month) are not yet adjusted to the new dark mode, and my guess would be that 95% of all our banners in general are not yet ready for dark mode. We simply did not have the time, knowledge, or received the support to do so.
So your issue is actually with community/WMF requested banners, not the fund raising ones? The former are created by volunteers (like me), the latter by the fundraising team.
Volunteers tried to raise this and requested support for our banners to make sure they work with dark mode, some work was done in T315148.

@jeremyb fyi, I disabled both the Spanish and English banner per this report.

Manfred, you have worked on this at the Wikimania hackathon.
Can you provide an update on the status?
(aware you are on holiday - please feel free to ignore the q until September)
WMF is re-designing CN banner templates: [[T315148]].
Important to try and make our WLM banners dark mode-compatible. Romaine is aware and responded in the ticket.
Ciell emailed Claudia with the request to have a call about this and the 2024 prize budget;
Lucy and Erina are invited to join the call;
Lucy already replied she's happy to join the call;
Ciell will share a budget proposal with Lucy and Erina before the call.
Ciell & Mesha have emailed all the countries that have so far signed up for September 2024.
October participants will follow soon.

Contract was signed in July.
Taking this forward this month (hopefully).
Hi Manfred,
Mahmoud, assigning this one to you.

Thinking along here: a recent request I saw on Meta was to make sure banners are respectful to the new Dark Mode settings, so maybe also try and work that into the new template.

That would be great Neslihan, thanks!
Hi @Aklapper!
This was (and still is) an open request from the GenderGap-NL working group. I created the request but did not claim to work on it; I was hoping someone at the WMHack could...
If there is anything you can suggest so this becomes more clear, please let me know.

Thanks Elukey.
I understand, but please realize that link-rot is a serious disease in our projects. I would understand if this is not a high priority task, but I do hope that at the end of the transition to Lift Wing fixes these kinds of links, or at least creating redirects, is something you plan to do.
/ui used to be a link where one could find the ORES scores and the individual weighing in the model, listed in a user friendly way. I do not know how broadly it was linked throughout the different wiki's. I see the same page in Finnish also mentions this direct link.
