This would be an important and highly used update to the Event Registration extension. In the GLAM community this has been a repeated request since 2023, and we have more than 90 registered participants each month for our online meetups. Until 2025 we used a self-built google-calendar integration, but this was causing issues for participation since people were joining without registering and occasionally duplicating the calendar event and invitations.
