Hi Halley - thanks for this request. I thought I had responded to it already - sorry for realizing I had not yet! I was confirming with the Design Researchers about their Q3 workloads and research roadmaps to confirm how much open availability we have. We prioritize research with external participants over studies with internal participants, so do not have capacity to do all the assistance you are requesting, but we can assist you with:

• Assistance designing the questions & structure
• Assistance with recruitment activities (external)

Moving to Research Q3 workboard; Claudia plans to do some work to support Kiernan in the PSI space and this task will be used to continue to track that work. Claudia to update the task with the exact scope planned for Q3.

Setting due date for when we want the first round of the continuous research sessions to happen, at the latest.

Here is the approach - it's from a paper where they were investigating the use of AI in a totally different context (algorithmic evaluation of employees at a workplace, for performance evaluation purposes) -- but the way they went about asking about it is one we could emulate.

("how do experienced contributors currently think about encoding policy into tools? What do they value in current approaches? What limitations do they see? Yes, in discussions with Leila, Leila felt that we should keep Tara's study to just the qualitative work, and revisit afterward whether followup quant work is desired. In discussing with Isaac at the backlog meeting last week, he said he would maybe propose still picking up this language switching analysis idea at some point, independently.

Confirming I have reviewed this research request. Since the request is for research within 6 months, we are waiting to finish collecting other research requests for Q1, before confirming if we can do this research in Q1 or Q2.
