To be fair to folks looking for projects now, I do want to state that the pool is already presenting strong projects and a final mentee could be chosen from the projects already submitted. For this reason I am marking this project as no longer accepting applications.

As stated by the Outreachy platform:

If you're currently working with too many strong applicants, we encourage you to close your project to new applicants. This ensures that Outreachy applicants who start their contributions later know which project mentors have time to work with them.

Closing your project to new applicants simply changes how the project is displayed on the projects list. Your project will be moved to a section at the end called "Closed Projects". Any applicant can still record contributions and create final applications for your project until Oct. 29, 2024 at 4pm UTC.
