Sorry, my mistake. I didn't ended the process and simply verified that the files was correctly read. Now, when attempting to end the process, a warning about the name popped up and therefore I've acknowledged that names without any letter are forbidden. Sorry for the inconvenience :-(

Sure, but I thought it was simpler to pre-install a single package (provided it's useful for the thing I could expect to do with pywikibot). On the other hand, is there any way to install extra elements that are not installed though pip? I'm trying to read mdb files and the packages require additional support from the operating system (see this, for instance)

Hi all, I've successfully posted TabularData through pywikibot following your code :-) However, I haven't used "contentmodel" (Tabular.JsonConfig does not seem to be supported) but only "contentformat" (set to "application/json"). That is, simply overwriting the save() method with
kwargs['contentformat'] = 'application/json'
And using json.dumps with ensure_ascii set to False has been enough for writing (see here)

Thanks for the info, Mpaa. I guess a can derive a basic saver for Tabular Data from your proofreadpage.py following Yurik statements. I'll let you know whether it works. On the other hand, reading is not actually a problem, I think I can use the MediaWiki API to retrieve the content. At the end of the day, it's the saving feature the actual stopper. Best regards

I've tried to create a server for a new user and it has worked. Hopefully it's definitely fixed :-)

Thanks, my new user is able to create a new server. However, I don't know whether the task is definitelly fixed or not. Thanks again

Hi, I've just created a new account (WikiLabMadrid) for giving a course on pywikibot to our local Spanish chapter. I wanted to show how to start using PAWS from scratch and, as my regular server is full of Python packages, created a new account. However, I'm undergoing the same problems as Herzi pointed out one month ago. Any way to sort this out?

I've checked and it seems to work. However, all the packages installed in the virtual environment are gone (just reinstall, but they're gone)

It seems as it's working properly now. Thanks :-)

Hi all, thank you for your effort. I do understand your concerns, but your solution is not the one I need. If you can't or don't wish to carry it out, I do respect it, but I must insist in having a proper solution. What you propose is something I could have done it on my own but I didn't as it's not what I need.

Hi guys, thank you for your comments but... what blocks me from doing this is pure lack of technical knowledge. I haven't seen any tool (such as flickr2commons) to massively upload files from panoramio. On the other hand, server-side uploads just says that the request must be done here... I'm confused :-(

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience... but it's really difficult to upload the file anywhere.
