OK
Jul 15 2018
@Cyberpower678 yeah, that looks ok.
OK, then when you are ready you could do another test batch. If after approx. 10 edits it looks OK to you, do approx. 100 more edits.
And to simply understand things, could you tell in which cases the bot adds {{Webarchive}} and in which cases it transforms cite to {{cite web}}?
One more thing.
- hmm, you missed the date template: {{dat|YYYY|MM|DD||bez}}
- we probably will not need also such messages. Then no talk page messages at all, I guess.
- |titel= :)

@Johan so the basic need is those two (readability, subscribers) pages? Could work on that. Maybe wouldn't automate it fully, but I think it would be better than current situation. Won't guarantee anything, though (real life and other wiki-tech-stuff).

So the translations (very soon, I know :) )

I think we would prefer no talk page messages. At least not the first one (second bullet point at translateble messages). If data is saved in some database (accessible from Toolforge), then I think we won't need any talk page messages.
Do you use dead link templates and archive templates?
Yeah, the standart one from enwiki Dead link. For web archives - I think some colleague created (read - copyed from enwiki) one, but don't remember which. But it's not a problem to create one.
Where are your cite templates?
These are the ones:

I personally would like to see all violations for specific type. The format (regex) one is good example. (if UI allows) in this way I can see what could be easily fixed automatically with bot, for example.

Something like this?
Maybe grantmetrics will suite you. Haven't used it (yet), just saw presentation of it by @MusikAnimal at conference.
This sounds interesting and something that anyway I wanted to do for my home wiki. Not saying, that I will definitely work on this, though.

Yes, I would agree with Lydia. We could enable this by default for all users, not only newcomers.

Sorry for not commenting this earlier, but better late then never as they say.

@Tobi_WMDE_SW isn't it disabled already in (at least) some projects?
Jan 18 2016
@Ladsgroup It also should be safe to replace <nowiki>''</nowiki> to ". Tested at Latvian Wikipedia.

@MarcoAurelio @Glaisher
Gender distinction part isn't working. See for example this page. The page title should be "Dalībniece:Ingii", because she has set her gender as woman.
Jan 12 2016
Yes, everything seems to be fine now. Was testing various edits.
But shouldn't line after 7874 be
But if I grant myself "bot user" group (flooder group), then my edits should be marked as made from bots automatically, right? Currently they aren't (I can see them in recent changes)
@Jdforrester-WMF I think it isn't working as expected. Granting flooder rights works, but user's edits are shown in recent changes. Yes, hidebots=0

I'm using this query.
@Elitre Here you are. Created also for Spanish Wikipedia, so you/somebody else can take a look at differences from P654, if you want.
Aug 30 2015
I suppose you want something else, but there is Magnus' tool and such one (you need to download it to your computer).
If you need a gadget, that simply does the job, then you can try out this one. It's pretty cool, it works in most cases. Also - previewing page/section with it is much more faster.
Aug 27 2015
@Mjbmr oh, so you waited some confirmation? My colleagues will kill me, I think :)
Aug 22 2015
You could also think about some result filtering. For example, I would like to know which pages are using Wikidata, except all those authority control IDs. You could keep in mind that.
Aug 4 2015
Let us assume that some user is highly active on two projects (A and B), but his home-project is A. So it would be nice, that on A he could get all project notifications, except for B (so the notification bar isn't so backlogged).
