How is this working as intended? As far as I can remember, I have not tried to log into my account and get to a page that would edit the wiki in the past day. Autoblocks last only for one day for good reason: to minimize collateral damage.

Maybe we could calculate the distance variable as simply the edit distance between added_lines and removed_lines. This way, we'll only check changed parts, and not big blocks of text.
