Please note I have filed the task T378406 - summary: channels keep closing a lot more often, and when they do so, they are not always restarting with all the others.

As of 11:45, 29 October 2024 (UTC), #mni.wikipedia, #pl.wikimedia, #pl.wikiquote, #tum.wikipedia channels are also down, alongside #ss.wikipedia.

+g is alright as it stops the spam from getting through, but I'm still getting notifications for message attempts. Private messages should just be disabled entirely.

Same thing was occuring to me at the end of last August. I noticed personally it was when I used enwiki and simplewiki in Huggle instead of just enwiki - maybe something to do with it?
