Sounds great!, I may be able to support you in terms of labeling data, I am currently building a risk communication platform, for the UNICEF, one of the thing they want, is the ability to classify communities inquires e.g. fake-news/rumor, question or general feedback...etc. We are trying to create a dataset (Arabic) in order to be able to build such model.

@calbon any update about this project?, I am happy to help if needed.

@Samwalton9 @Miriam when are we supposed to hear back?
Nov 5 2019
Hello here is my repo, https://github.com/ghassanmas/citation-needed-paper
You can run the script by python article.py then follow the instructions.
Oct 14 2019
@Surlycyborg @Miriam @Samwalton9 I have confusion hopefully you could clear it out.
Oct 10 2019
@Surlycyborg But the mediawiki API usually returns the disambiguation page or the redirect page not the exact article. which would need to send another request assuming the redirect is correct or the first result of the disambiguation is correct. But if using the search API before then we could get the article by pageid instead.
@Surlycyborg the deadline according to Outreacy is the 5th of Nov right?
Oct 8 2019
Note: mwapi requires python 3 while the citation is written in python 2

Regarding expressing opinions it wasn't always the case that I would label it as a "bad faith damaging", since it's a common case where editor are expressing their opinions in a respective manner "like in conversational topic", so in that case I would label it as you said "goodfaith and damaging" but whenever the editor is expressing their opinion in vary harsh manner or their opinion is based purely on political agenda, I would label it as a bad faith.
Again I guess the features plays crucial rule in classifying, also since Arabic is close to Persian you may have some insights about that.

Hello All,

I have published the draft in a very similar way to the example mentioned before, given the the tool is already working on the Arabic recent changes.
While I was working today on the draft, on the recent changes section I can see that the last edits which has high score in "reverted" is already highlights, shouldn't the highlighting be based on the 'damaging' model ? so is it deployed now? Arabic Wikipedia Recent Changes
Apr 19 2018
Yes of course ! I would be happy to work on that also its really an easy small task to do !. To follow up with deployment date, will be there an announcement on ai-request@lists.wikimedia.org when the exact time is known?
Mar 14 2018
@Halfak 96 edits left to label, but all of them seems to point to a deleted or unavailable edit, given all of the 50 edits in the requested sample returned this message or similar one " code: revision not found ". So I guess when an edit is aborted it may show again when requesting new sample of edits..

Hello everyone I am sorry for not being active that long! I had some personal issues, also I was away from keyboard and busy for quiet long time.
@Halfak I almost forget about the campaign, thanks for reminding, I would defiantly find time to back on track, as well as to participate in other stuff.

The log pattern specifically "how the long of each line varies as you scroll down" looks like the historical map of Palestine but turned exactly 180 degree on Y the axis .
Sep 26 2016
@Halfak it took 312 second to query the views of Aug/2016 for 5K titles.
On this rate it would take 90 hours to get the views for the +5M articles, moreover there is some issue with mwviews, been trying to solve it. I will be looking for a hack to decrease 90 hours.

There is two "in other language" in meta.wikimedia.org
Jun 2 2016
@ Danny_B the bug reproduced in all browsers, thus it's irreverent to add it "Browser-Support-Google-Chrome". the title was misleading so I changed it.
May 21 2016
So I was trying to reproduce the issue, I found that the issue isn't only for the Arabic language, the issue also reproduced for french and Spanish, that what I've tested so for.
The pages I am requesting to be edited is non-editable. It has no editable symbol. it's a special page.
May 17 2016
Alright, How can I reach the admins of [[ meta.wikimedia.org | meta.wikimedia.org ]] ?
The page is non editable . or only administrators can edit it. I think it's a protected page.
