What you would usually do is

1. create a sample page on your localhost with <math forcemathmode=native>\det'</math> and see if you can understand the reported problem
2. checkout the patch either via the cli git review -d 1119866 or via the gui

1. re-render the page (by appending ?action=purge) to the localhost url
2. see if the problem was fixed

The task was resolved/closed per the comment above.

The above problem occurs when BaseX is installed via Homebrew in Mac OSX Sonoma. Installing via this repository (for which docker is also available) had no issues:
