I assume if we did that a user would be counted as impression but wouldn't really get the chance to see and interact with whatever initial state of the banner we would want to present and test.
So I'd vote for new text new state.

At 1579px and below the black-marker-stripe next to "Es fehlen:..." switches from being nicely centered to below the middleline of the progress bar.

@gabriel-wmde after talking to Carsten who is analysing this data, it is clear that the interesting info would be in the "no tracking data" part.
Is there any chance to get the data in those fields filled with any data export or will they always remain empty?

@gabriel-wmde yeah we are good on the usual viewport data but would need the backend donation data for the campaign dates in order to analyse payment channels (paypal, direct debit etc.)

Since this has a hefty impact on accounting processes it would be really good to get this today if possible

Will talk to @Tobias_Schumann_WMDE-ext about the size-question later and give you feedback.

Thanks @CorinnaHillebrand_WMDE that's all good now. Super minor thing: Text in right of the progress-bar is usually black but that doesn't screw the test as it's now green in both. So no worries.

To clarify: this needs to be fixed (ideally this week) for the eMailing (starting on Sunday) but is not a blocker for this test (which is a desktop test anyway)

Few things we are still seeing:

No blocker for the next few tests but this was fixed EXCEPT for the E-Mail error message which still shows the old format

Banner and error messages are looking good now. left aligned and everything.
Errors just slightly change the banner size in vertical mode which is fine.
However I saw that the "Weiter, um Spende abzuschliesen" button doesn't actually link through to the LP (well it doesn't work at all).
Please fix.

Yea, expected that the share of Safari users on WIndows would be low. Thanks for checking the numbers on that.
So this issue should be neglectable.

Tested on Safari 5.1.7.
Seems to be the latest version you can download for windows (from Heise, Chip etc.).
Of course Mac users would have a way higher version. Gabriel tested on the newer version and it worked fine.
So this would probably only affect Safari users on Windows.

Here is my feedback after some testing sessions on the banner:
