There are some legitimate use cases for this feature I can think of, but they're rare enough and easy enough to handle manually that I don't think it's worth coding.

If I were to mark them manually, I could update them directly, that's not the point! The point is that, for example, in German, if I put spaces between the heading characters (==) and its text, I can update it in German right away, without having to do the same in other languages! Then I could filter said strings directly when updating, as I said, without having to do this in other languages as well...
